Terms of use

Pilot release

VisitCheck is free to use during the pilot and no card details are taken. The pilot terms, including how much notice you get before anything changes or ends, are agreed with you in writing before your pilot starts.

What VisitCheck is

VisitCheck is a web application that helps a trade business ask a customer a short set of questions before an appointment. The business adds the appointment, the customer opens a private link and answers, and the business sees whether the visit is ready, awaiting a reply, needs attention, or has a change requested.

It is not technical advice, a safety inspection, a contract, a quote, an invoice or a payment service. It does not reschedule or cancel anything automatically: the business stays responsible for the appointment.

Your account

One owner login per business in this release. You are responsible for keeping the login secure and for the accuracy of the details you enter. You must only add customers whose details you are entitled to use, and you must not send links to people who have not asked for or agreed to hear from you.

Customer links

A customer link is a bearer credential: anyone holding it can see that appointment and answer the checklist. Do not post it publicly. You can replace or revoke a link at any time from the appointment.

Email and reminders

Automatic emails depend on the email service and the scheduler. We tell you whether a message was accepted by the email service, which is not the same as confirmed delivery. Reminders are only sent where an email address exists, an invitation has been sent, the appointment is still scheduled and no answer has been received. Manual sharing by text or WhatsApp is always available and is different from automatic messaging.

Availability

We aim to keep VisitCheck working but cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may change or withdraw features during the pilot. Do not rely on VisitCheck as the only record of an appointment.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profit or for losses that follow from a customer not replying, a message failing to arrive, or a business decision about whether to travel.

Closing your account

You can delete your account and its data from Settings. Deleting removes your appointments, customer links, responses and email history, and cancels pending reminders. We may suspend an account that is used to send abusive or unlawful content.
